eRate Fee

The eRate is available to non-residents of Tennessee who are enrolled exclusively in online courses at TBR schools. Students enrolled in any type of course other than online courses will not be eligible for the eRate.

Note: The hourly rate will not be discounted for students receiving the eRate and enrolling in 12 or more undergraduate hours. Students who enroll in both online courses and other type courses and subsequently drop the other type courses will not then become eligible for the eRate.

Credit

The following are Credit student fees charged in addition to tuition.

  • Allied Health Fee - $25.00 per credit hour. This fee is assessed for all Allied Health courses.
     
  • CDE Fee - $25.00 per online or directed studies class. Non-refundable.
     
  • Program Services Fee - $9.40 per credit hour, $47.00 per semester maximum per student.
     
  • External Proctor Fee - Online Students taking courses with proctored exams might incur a proctoring location fee when requesting an external proctor.
     
  • ID Card Replacement Fee - $2.00 per replacement. Non-refundable.
     
  • IncludED (DEI) Bookstore Charge - Digital Materials
     
  • MyLabsPlus Math Course Fee - Digital Course Materials
     
  • Private Music Fee - $75.00 per semester hour. This fee is charged for all individual instruction music classes.
     
  • Special Course Fees - In courses using facilities for which the College must pay, such costs will be assessed as a laboratory fee in the appropriate amount.
     
  • In State and Out of State Tuition Fee - Tuition per credit hour. See fee table for current cost.
     
  • Technology Fee - $10.00 per credit hour, $116.00 per semester maximum per student.
     
  • Late Registration Fee - $10.00 This fee will be charged during the entire period of late registration, which is anytime after final registration day. The effective date of the late registration fee will be determined by the College.
     
  • Returned Check Fee - $30.00 for each returned check. Checks tendered in payment of tuition/fees should be drawn only against accounts with sufficient balances. Every effort will be made to collect on checks returned for any reason. Non-refundable.
     
  • TN eCampus Online Course Fee - campus access, technology access, or campus student activity fees for TN eCampus students. (TN eCampus fees DO NOT cap at 12 hours.)

  • TCAT General Access Fee - $50.00 per semester
     
  • Full Time TCAT Student Technology Fee - $67.00
     
  • Part-time TCAT Student Technology Fee - $45.00
     
  • Student Activity Fee - $10.00 per semester
     
  • Licensed Practical Nursing Fee - $100.00
     
  • Truck Driving Course Fee - $300.00
     
  • Welding Technology Course Fee - $100.00
     
  • GED Testing Fee - $65.00
     
  • Placement Test Fees - ACT - $45.00
     
  • Assessment Fee for Experiential Learning - $45.00
     
  • Experiential Learning Credit - $90.00 maximum ($15.00 per credit hour in excess of 3.0 credit hours.)
     
  • Credit by Examination Fee - The regular course fee is charged for each special examination and must be paid prior to taking the examination. Non-refundable.
