Transient (Visiting) College Students

You are a Transient College Student if:

  • You are currently attending another college or university and are interested in taking a course(s) to be transferred back to your current college or university.

This isn't the type of student I am. Let me choose again.

Admissions Checklist for Transient College Students

Check mark Complete the Online Admissions Application

 

Check mark Submit Proof of United States Citizenship or lawful presence (This is not required to be admitted to the college. However, students who do not submit the proper proof(s), cannot receive in-state tuition rates or other state benefits.)

International applicants should email internationals@chattanoogastate.edu for more information.

 

Check mark Submit Official College Transcript or a Transient Permission Letter

Transient permission letters should be emailed to submit@chattanoogastate.edu​

College officials may submit college transcripts electronically via one the following methods:

  • Electronically via the following vendors: 
    • Naviance
    • Parchment
    • eSCRIP-SAFE
    • National Student Clearinghouse
    • Credentials Solutions
  • Email as an attachment to submit@chattanoogastate.edu​
  • Mail to Admissions Office, 4501 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37406
  • Fax to 423- 697-4709
