Dear Chattanooga State Community,

I hope your break this week is one in which you are able to relax and recharge as you prepare for the final weeks of the semester.

I realize there are no classes this week, but I wanted to remind you that registration is open for the 2024 calendar year. In an effort to ensure students have the best opportunity to secure the classes they need to meet their degree requirements, credit students can register for the whole year — spring, summer, and fall semesters!

In addition, there are some huge changes to TN Promise and TN Reconnect that will allow summer courses to be covered by these scholarships. If you are eligible for the TN Promise scholarship for 2023-2024, and you register for summer 2024 classes (which is not required for credit hour programs), you can still be eligible to receive TN Promise funds towards tuition and mandatory fees (fees charged to all students) if you do not enroll full-time! In addition, TN Reconnect students can enroll in fewer than 6 hours for summer 2024 classes and still be covered! Be sure to ask your advisor about how you can take summer classes.

If you register for your spring classes by December 8, you will be registered to win one of 20 $100 gift cards.

 

2024–2025 Scholarship Application Is Now Open

The 2024-2025 Scholarship Application is now open for Fall 2024 scholarship awards! ChattState and the Chattanooga State Foundation will award over $1 million in scholarships next year, but students must apply to be considered. The priority deadline for scholarship awards is March 1, 2024.

The 2024-2025 Scholarship Application will only be reviewed for scholarship awards beginning with the Fall 2024 semester.
