Dear Chattanooga State Community,

Chattanooga State remains open all week, including this Saturday, to serve students in preparation for classes starting August 14th. Students may take advantage of walk-in advising today through Friday, get enrollment assistance, or register to attend the Registration Resort on Saturday, August 12. Thanks to the hard work of our Plant Operations Team, the A/C has been restored to all buildings except IMC. As a result, most services have returned to normal operations except the following:

• Testing Center, closed and rescheduling tests
• Library, closed and remote only: Contact the Library
• IT Help Desk in the Library, temporarily relocated to Student Center Lobby

Reminder: Chattanooga State is holding a simulated active shooter drill tomorrow, Wednesday, August 9. The main campus will be closed from 7 AM–1 PM to safely and effectively conduct the drill designed to train first responders. Chattanooga State requests the cooperation of students, employees, and the public during the closure period by not coming to campus between 7 AM–1 PM. The campus will re-open at 1 PM on August 9.
