March 13th, 2023

Dear Chattanooga State Community,

Welcome back! Whether you’re a returning student or new to campus, we’re glad to have you here.

For those returning, we hope you had a chance to rest and recharge in preparation for the final 7-weeks of this semester. And for those just joining us, we extend a warm welcome and encourage you to explore all our campus offers.

As you may have noticed, March is Advising Month, which means it’s the perfect time to connect with your advisor and get the guidance you need to achieve your academic goals. Your advisor is more than just the person who gives you your registration PIN—they’re also a valuable resource for helping you map out your academic journey, assess your progress, and plan for the future. So whether you have questions about your coursework, are planning to transfer, or looking ahead to career opportunities, your advisor is here to help.

Students, We Want to Hear About Your ChattState Experience!

Students nationwide are participating in the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) to share their college experiences and help shape their college’s future. Your responses to our survey are very important in helping us understand your experiences and improve ChattState. If you are age 18 or older, taking at least one credit-bearing course, and have a declared degree program, you can take the survey here by entering your ChattState email address as your access code. Contact traci.williams@chattanoogastate.edu with any questions.

Sincerely,
