As the March 23 online class start date approaches, we would like to share more updates to help our students, faculty, and staff to make the transition to our new, temporary learning environment.
Open Computer Lab Access
For students who do not have access to a computer or do not have internet access, we are in the process of creating a temporary open lab space for your use. Space will be limited to no more than nine (9) students at a time in the lab for your safety, and cleaning protocols will be followed by Chattanooga State personnel. Please check back for additional information including how to reserve time in the lab and lab hours.
For computer lab access to program specific software, please contact your instructor.
TCAT Update
We are working with our faculty and staff to provide the optimum opportunity to continue and complete your program of study as soon as possible without a negative impact on your financial aid and clock hour accumulation. All classroom work including testing will be completed online through eLearn. For labs, in compliance with Federal and State guidelines, students will meet in groups of nine (9) or less as communicated by your instructor. Social distancing will be maintained, and students should adhere to a distance of six (6) feet or more while operating in labs. Please communicate with your faculty member should you have specific questions and/or need additional support.
