Media Technology is the study of both new and traditional forms of media. New media includes the Internet, websites, computer multimedia, video games, CD-ROMS and DVDs. Traditional media includes television programs, feature films, magazines, books, or other paper-based publications not involving digital interactivity. Career opportunities include media technician, production technician, support technician, library media technician, and webcast & digital media specialist.
