Information:

The Veterinary Technology Program is a five semester Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree encompassing both general education requirements and veterinary technology knowledge and skills acquisition. The program is designed to prepare the student to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Board Exam which in turn will qualify the student to become a licensed veterinary technician.

The cohort group entering the Program is required to take all Veterinary Technology courses (with the exception of VETT 1010 Introduction to Veterinary Technology) at the same time and in the order they are offered. While an entering cohort group of students take their Veterinary Technology courses together they do not have to take their general education courses as a group.
