Campus Access / Return to Campus Planning

  1. Beginning this week, students and employees approved for campus access will be required to complete a daily health screening self-assessment in order to gain access to campus. Anyone on campus will be required to:
  2. Answer a series of medical questions screening for COVID-19 symptoms
  3. Wear masks while in common areas, confined spaces and shared spaces
  4. Practice social distancing of at least 6 feet
  5. Not gather in groups of more than 10 people at any time
  6. Beginning June 1, campus access will be less restricted; however, appointments will be required for campus visitors. Employees will be notified by their supervisors if they have been approved for campus access during this phase. Employees returning to campus will primarily be in student-facing and public-facing offices. Students and employees approved for campus access in Phase 1 beginning May 18 will continue to have access to campus. Any individual coming to campus will be required to follow the guidelines outlined above.
  7. Please read the detailed Return to Campus Plan available on the College’s COVID-19 Information page. This information is subject to change based on on-going assessments and guidance from local and state government.

Reminders

All past communications can be accessed from the College’s COVID-19 information page.
As we have stated many times before, all plans are subject to change based on guidance we receive from state and local officials. So, please stay tuned for updates. You will get through this. We will get through this.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Ashford, Ed.D.
