April 15th, 2024

Dear Chattanooga State Community,

The end of the semester can be exciting as you anticipate a summer break, but it can also be overwhelming with the culmination of projects, exams, and deadlines. As we are heading into the end of the semester and finals are looming, I wanted to take a moment to remind you of resources that may help if you are feeling overwhelmed or stressed. The Student Support Center offers valuable services for students who may be facing challenges in their daily lives. One of the key services provided is individual personal counseling services. These sessions provide a confidential space for you to explore your behavior, emotions, and relationships. By gaining a better perspective on these aspects of your life, you can work towards overcoming obstacles that may be negatively impacting your academic performance and daily routines.

Additionally, the Student Support Center offers confidential online mental health screenings. These screenings can provide crucial insights into your emotional well-being and serve as a starting point for identifying areas that may require further attention or support. The Student Support Center also facilitates the referral process for students who may benefit from additional resources or specialized care.

The best part of these services is they are FREE for students. Whether seeking individual counseling or utilizing online screenings, you can access the support you need to navigate challenges and improve your overall wellbeing. Visit the Student Support Center in Student Center, Room 261 or in our virtual office.
