ChattState Adjunct Professor Assumes Key Role at Montgomery Planetarium

WAKA Action 8 News -- William “Lee” Tinker, an adjunct professor of astronomy at Chattanooga State Community College, has been chosen as the Planetarium Coordinator for the W.A. Gayle Planetarium in Montgomery, AL.
Tinker is tasked with leading educational programming and overseeing daily operations at the planetarium.
Originally from the Chattanooga area, Tinker is a current member of the Southeastern Planetarium Association and a board member of the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Tinker is a longtime ChattState adjunct professor who also served as the College’s Assistant Director of Orientation/Advisement/Retention from 1990 to 1999.
