Dear Chattanooga State Family,

As we learn more about the tragic death of Tyre Nichols, we struggle to understand this senseless violence. The well-being and safety of our community are our top priorities. We understand that many may be experiencing trauma, shock, and disillusionment due to this most recent event.

  • ChattState Counseling Services: Counseling Services at Chattanooga State offers free help through an interaction with a trained professional to current Chattanooga State students, faculty, and staff 423.697.4483, Main Campus, IMC Room 124 or virtual Student Support Center.
  • Office of Organizational and Cultural Engagement. Reach out to the Belonging Center at 423.697.3242 for assistance with Employee Assistance Program.
