Testimonial Tuesday

Where I began, to where I am now-wow! My life in the past 4 years has been a roller coaster. In 2019, I started college and had a plan to graduate in the spring of 2020. Well, life had other plans for me. In February of 2019, I found out I was pregnant, but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from reaching my goal of graduating. In April of 2019 I had a miscarriage, and then Covid happened, causing me to take a step back. In May 2019 I found out I was pregnant again, this time with my son who is now almost 2 years old. In the spring of 2022 I decided it was time to pick up where I left off and go back to school. Here I am now on the path to finishing! I get to be an example for my son, that no matter what life throws in your path, you can achieve anything-even if it means taking a step back.

I am currently studying hospitality and tourism, and my focus is culinary arts. I plan to graduate in the spring of 2023.
