Chattanooga State to Host Boeing Opportunities on September 13

September 6, 2022 (Chattanooga, TN) --- As a leading global aerospace company, Boeing representatives will visit Chattanooga State Community College on Tuesday, September 13 to provide information and discuss employment opportunities within the company. Boeing representatives will meet with interested individuals at 5:30 p.m. in Room 182 of the Center for Engineering, Technology And Sciences (CETAS) building on the main campus, 4501 Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37406. RSVPs are required to attend this event.

Boeing is currently looking for individuals to apply for and fill positions as Mechatronics Maintenance Technicians, Electronic Maintenance Technicians, and Machine Repair Mechanics in the Puget Sound region of Washington State.

Mechatronics Maintenance Technicians are needed for multiple manufacturing and production locations, supporting Boeing’s Commercial Airplane division (BCA). These technicians maintain some of the most technologically advanced manufacturing equipment in the Aviation industry. Depending on your work location, you could have the opportunity to help maintain equipment such as Flex Tracks, High-Speed Mills, Automated Tooling Systems, Carbon Fiber Layup Machines, and Multi-Axis Robotic Equipment.

Electronic Maintenance Technicians repair/replace multiple types of defective equipment and overhaul/rebuild and assemble a wide variety of plant equipment, including Numerically Controlled (NC) machines, robotics & end effectors, modular assembly equipment, precision-built machines, etc., material handling equipment, stationary generator sets, and process equipment.

Machine Repair Mechanics repair critical equipment and perform preventive/predictive maintenance and complete mechanical hardware upgrades. Along with this, they communicate accurately, concisely, and professionally with customers on essential repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion. Plus, they repair/replace defective equipment, overhaul/rebuild, and assemble a wide variety of plant equipment.
