The Chattanooga State Foundation recently received a $3,000 Paralegal Scholarship established by Olsen Law Firm. The firm believes in a hands-on approach to learning and appreciates that the faculty in the paralegal program at Chattanooga State Community College share a similar vision. “Chattanooga State assists students with the development of practical knowledge and skill, which is hugely important when creating quality paralegals,” states Olsen Law Firm founder Terry Olsen, Esq.
The scholarship will assist with the development of paralegals in the Chattanooga area, helping to create a strong legal community. “It is important to our firm that we are actively involved in shaping Chattanooga’s legal community,” shares Olsen. “We can assist the students in reaching their full potential in their future legal careers,” he adds.
Olsen Law Firm practices Immigration & Nationality Law, and International Law. Mr. Olsen has served, and continues to serve the international community, and his clients’ interests in the United States, and internationally. He is the chair of the International Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, and is former chair of the Immigration Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association—having served as chair of the TBA’s Immigration Section for approximately five terms since 2009.
