• Chattanooga Bar Association can help you find a lawyer.
• Child Support Program (through TN Dept. of Human Services) provides services that promote parental responsibility to meet the financial needs of children and their families. Services include:
  • Location of a child’s parent(s) for establishing paternity or support
  • Establishing/enforcing child or medical support
  • Collecting/distributing payments
  • Changing child support orders
  • Enforcing spousal support

• Family Justice Center provides free and confidential services related to:
  • Intimate partner and family violence
  • Abuse of older adults through elder justice services
  • Human trafficking
• Hamilton County Courts offers general information for the various courts in Hamilton County, including dockets, directions/maps, etc.
• Legal Aid of East Tennessee provides legal assistance/representation for East Tennesseans in civil matters.
• Partnership for Families, Children, and Adults
• Victim of Crime Act Program offers comprehensive services through advocates/case managers to elders (age 60 and up) and disabled adults (age 18 to 59) who have been victimized either physically, psychologically, financially or sexually.
• Victim Support Services seeks to stop the cycle of violence by creating resources for individuals and families after traumatic experiences such as sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking.
• Southeast Tennessee Legal Services is a public interest law firm that operates as a non-profit legal organization; experts provide forms and explanatory booklets for many types of legal matters.
• Tennessee Justice Center helps families cut through “red tape” to get vital health care and nutrition benefits.
• Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit includes courts’ information for north Georgia counties. (Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker)
• State Bar of Georgia offers services to the public, such as finding a lawyer in Georgia and getting connected with Georgia Legal Aid or the Military Legal Assistance Program.
