Transient Students

Admissions Requirements

  1. Submit an official transcript from your home institution or transient permission letter. Official transcripts must be sent directly from your institution or hand-delivered in the original unopened envelope. Electronic transcripts are preferred. If you are in your first semester at your home institution, please submit a copy of your class schedule. The schedule must show your name, the current semester, and the name or website of your school.
     
  2. Submit proof of lawful presence in the United States. Tennessee residents can submit a copy of a valid Tennessee driver’s license or state ID. Residents of other states can submit a valid out of state license or state ID with a birth certificate or valid US passport. This is not required for admission to Chattanooga State. However, if proof is not submitted, you will be charged out of state fees and will not be eligible for any fee reductions or waivers.
