The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hamilton County (CACHC) was established as a private, non-profit agency in 1991. The Center’s mission is to serve those affected by alleged child abuse or neglect by offering help, hope, and healing. CACHC provides evaluation and treatment for abused children and their non-offending families by providing: forensic interviews, therapy, family advocacy, medical exams, community education, and coordination of the various public agencies involved with a child’s case. CACHC is an independent agency accredited by the National Children’s Alliance, which stands as one of more than 800 centers nationwide providing similar services for abused children. Last fiscal year, the Center served 656 children and made prevention education presentations to 3,158 adults and children.
