Tiger Tailgate Party Kicks Off Basketball Season

Chattanooga, TN (November 10, 2015) --- ChattState kicks off its 2015-2016 basketball season against Jackson State Community College on Friday, November 13 at 5:30 p.m. with a conference game and a spirit-filled Tiger Tailgate Party beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Omniplex Parking lot. Tiger Tailgate Party is free and open to the public who may tailgate as well!
The Student Activities and Athletic departments sponsor Tiger Tailgate Party, designed to build team spirit and strengthen support of the 28 talented athletes that make up ChattState’s basketball teams. “We want to support our student athletes and make an impact on young lives,” states Dr. Flora Tydings, Chattanooga State President.
To ensure safety for all and promote fun that tailgating cultivates, the following items are prohibited: alcoholic beverages, glass containers, open fires, and couches/upholstered furniture. Electrical outlets are not available.
Tiger Tailgate Party concludes with the season-opener matchup between the Tigers and the Generals of Jackson State Community College. The Women tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Men who take the court at 7:30 p.m. Game day tickets are $5 per person and available at the door. Chattanooga State students with a current ID get in free! Tickets for all 15 home games this season may be purchased for $25 at the door during any home game, or in the Chattanooga State Bursar’s Office, located in the Student Center, during regular business hours.
