Tigers Looking to “Pack the House” at AT&T Field April 3
March 20, 2018 | | Press Release
The 13th Annual ChattState Tigers vs. Chattanooga Lookouts exhibition game is just two weeks away; set for Tuesday, April 3 with game time at 6:15 p.m. General admission tickets are on sale now for $5 through the Lookouts box office, on game day, or by calling ChattState Tiger Baseball head coach Greg Dennis at 423.697.2418.
All proceeds from sales of general admission tickets, whether purchased in advance or on game day, are donated to the Chattanooga State Baseball Program. “We encourage a large crowd for this event – this is a big part of our being able to hold this game every year,” states head coach Greg Dennis, who has 15 years as Tiger head coach.
The 2017-18 Tigers have been ranked in the Top 30 Nationally for the eleventh time in the past 13 years. “Considering we are 23 of 26 freshmen players, this one feels particularly gratifying,” beams Dennis. “Hopefully, good things are in the future for this group and our program as we ready to play the Lookouts on April 3,” he shares.
The men play to win and often give the Lookouts a run for their money. “We had a four-year stretch a few years ago where we stayed within one run of the Lookouts each year. It makes it exciting when we keep it close for the guys and the crowd,” states Dennis.
Win or lose, the evening is full of fun and excitement. “Our goal is to sell more than 2,000 tickets this year, so help us fill up the stadium to support our student-athletes,” adds Dennis.
