SkillsUSA Students Earn National Medals

Chattanooga, TN --- Chattanooga State’s Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) students recently brought home four medals – three gold and one bronze – during the annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.

Students earning gold medals in Job Demonstration were Tiffany Hammond, Wildwood, GA, and model Kristyn Huskey, Pikeville; Renee Richardson, advisor. A gold medal in Mechatronics was presented to Jace Davis, Trenton, GA and Eric O’Rear, Hixson; Ralph Gwaltney, advisor. Cherryfer Irizarry, Rossville, GA was the lone gold medal recipient in the Nursing Assistant category; Brenda Holland, advisor.

Earning a bronze medal in Nail Care was Cassidy Bell, Ringgold, GA and her model, Brenda Frieson, Chattanooga; Elonia James, advisor.
