The newly formed Chattanooga State Community College Alumni Association Board of Directors recently elected officers: Julie Cook Davis, President; Gary Ainscough, President-Elect; Jared Bigham, Secretary; and Sherri Shackleford, Treasurer.

“It is such an honor to serve Chattanooga State to help build our Alumni Association,” said Julie Cook Davis, new President of the Chattanooga State Alumni Association Board of Directors. “We have a smart and passionate group of alumni leaders to help us grow an active and engaged alumni association to support the college and its alumni. And we would love to meet Chattanooga State alumni at the upcoming Tiger Tailgate Party!” she adds.

The Tiger Tailgate is set for Friday, December 2 from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the faculty/staff parking lot in front of the OMN building on the main campus. Alumni and friends of Chattanooga State are invited to join the Alumni Association for a fun time. Please bring lawn chairs and a tailgate snack to share. Soft drinks and paper products will be provided. Chattanooga State plays Motlow State in Conference games with Men’s Basketball starting at 5:30 p.m. and Women’s Basketball at 7:30 p.m.

The mission of the Chattanooga State Alumni Association is to foster a lifelong relationship between the College and its alumni, to support the college in advancing its mission, to help serve the needs of the alumni community and to offer resources for current students to be successful.
