Meet future filmmakers at Chattanooga State on Tuesday, November 15 from 12 -2 p.m. in the faculty/staff dining room. The Media Club will screen several short films, including the premier of Zombie College. In addition, Morgan Smith, the screenwriter and executive producer for a series of recent media club films, will be on hand to sign her latest novels.

During the month of October, the Media Club with the help of the College’s Drama Club and almost 50 other students produced the film, Zombie College. The film features a special appearance by Dr. James Catanzaro, the president of Chattanooga State.

Morgan Smith, 22, will autograph copies of each of her novels, Shades of Amber and A Touch of Sapphire. Both novels are based on the screenplays Smith wrote for her films. Both Shades of Amber and A Touch of Sapphire will be available for purchase at the event. One dollar of the proceeds from the sale of each book will be donated to Chattanooga State’s Media Club. Actors from the films will be present at the event as well.

“There will be door prizes and popcorn, so be sure to come out and see what Chattanooga State’s Media Club has been working on. This is a great opportunity to see some of the films produced by the talented and creative people at Chattanooga State,” says Smith.
