e&it open house

The Engineering and Information Technologies Division of Chattanooga State Community College will hold an open house on Thursday, April 18 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Center for Engineering, Technology, Arts & Sciences (CETAS) building starting at the WACKER Institute on the main campus located at 4501 Amnicola Highway. Walk-ins are welcome. Questions may be directed to Breanne Kintz, at 423.697.3252 breanne.kintz@chattanoogastate.edu.

The Division of Engineering & Information Technologies offers highly accredited education and training for today’s modern workforce and the careers of the future. More than ever, people are retiring in fields requiring technical know-how. In addition, as distribution centers, automotive manufacturers, IT and technology start-ups, and chemical processors move into the area, the demand for highly skilled workers continues to increase.

Participants will discover pathways to high demand, high wage STEM careers through General Engineering, Computer Programming, Mechatronics, and Nuclear Power programs of study.

Come see our state-of-the-art labs, equipment, facilities, and meet some of the very best engineering and computer science technology educators in this part of the country!

Incoming students may be interested to learn that every engineering technology degree within the division will allow a student to transfer seamlessly to UTC as a junior. This agreement was made official in January of 2019.
