ChattState Names Student Ambassadors

Chattanooga, TN (December 14, 2015) --- Following a warm welcome by Chattanooga State President Dr. Flora Tydings, fourteen Chattanooga State students were named Student Ambassadors during a recent presentation. The following students will help represent Chattanooga State during selected admission, recruiting, orientation, and community events:
- Jason Alford: Business management major, Hixson High School graduate
- Alexis Bonanno: Accounting major, Briarcrest Christian High School graduate
- Rebecca “Becca” Brown: Social work major, Collegiate High School graduate
- Lorenzo Caldwell: Accounting major; Ooltewah High School graduate
- Jared Compton: Mechanical engineering major, Bledsoe County High School
- Cheyenne Hixson: Nursing major, Sale Creek Middle/High School
- Jasmin “Olivia” Kilgore: Nondestructive testing major, Marion County High School
- Brandon Middlebrooks: Music education major, Dade County High School
- Jennifer O’Neill: Culinary arts major, East Hamilton High School graduate
- Jordan Smith: Graphic Design major, Red Bank High School graduate
- Ben Steinman: Current Collegiate High School student
- Celeste Sneed: Industrial Electricity program, TCAT; BFA, Oklahoma State University
- Bethany Swint: Exercise science major, Lakeview Ft. Oglethorpe High School graduate
- Elena Tsvetkova: Current Collegiate High School student
In addition to serving as a ChattState student representative, Ambassadors will encourage school spirit and participation in student life, as well as maintain positive relationships between students, faculty, staff and members of the community. In turn, Ambassadors will reap benefits as they gain job readiness and leadership abilities, improve public speaking skills and enjoy networking opportunities.
