Chattanooga State Prepares for Fall Semester

August 13, 2020 | Betty A. Proctor | Press Release

fall 2020

Chattanooga State’s ongoing commitment to maintain a healthy and safe campus environment this fall means that more than 70% of classes will be offered virtually or online, while the remaining will utilize hybrid models. Hybrid classes combine online and on-campus instruction and are primarily for programs that require a hands-on component to fulfill requirements. These flexible, safe and effective instructional methods will provide a quality experience to help students achieve their goals.

As the College prepares for the fall semester, Chattanooga State has implemented a number of measures to help protect the health and safety of students, faculty and staff. These measures include a requirement to complete a daily health screen questionnaire before coming to campus or any instructional site, to wear appropriate facemasks and other protective equipment as directed by the college, to limit the size of gatherings in social situations, to maintain social distancing, and to remain home if ill, or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. All individuals arriving at the main campus must use the main campus entrance located at the traffic light on Amnicola Highway.

Fall 2020 classes begin August 24. Enrollment is still open so sign-up today.
