Chattanooga State’s Division of Economic and Workforce Development has partnered with Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy (CGLA) to offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at CGLA every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. CGLA is located at 1802 Bailey Avenue.

Adult English language learners assigned to the classes will be pre-tested for English, reading, writing, listening and speaking skills using the Basic English Skills Test (BEST). 

The City of Chattanooga’s Bridges to Success program offers a limited number of scholarships for this program.
