Chattanooga, TN --- Chattanooga State offers many programs to fit the demand of a recent advertisement promoting the “most wanted jobs” in the Chattanooga area. As an added bonus, eight programs listed in the “most wanted jobs” can be taken through ChattState’s Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) and will be offered FREE of tuition and fees to qualified students through the TN Reconnect program.

Six programs within the TCAT Division can be completed in two semesters. The programs and median salaries are:

• Administrative Office Professional: $35K
• HVAC: $43K
• Industrial Electricity: $50K
• Industrial Electronics: $38K
• Industrial Maintenance Technician: $44K
• Welding: $36K

These two programs can be completed in less than one year:

• Certified Nursing Assistant, six-week program: $24K
• Commercial Truck Driving, seven and one-half week program: $41K

Job placement rates for each of these programs vary between 88 and 100 percent. In as little as six weeks, students can be on their way to a new career and into a “most wanted job.” The TN Reconnect program makes these programs a smart choice to fast track your career.
