Applications for ChattState EMS Programs Being Accepted

Applications are now being accepted for Chattanooga State’s fall 2019 Paramedic Course that begins in August 2019. The application deadline is June 30, 2019. The fall 2019 Paramedic cohort will be team-taught utilizing a redundant (shift-friendly) schedule, with the same first-day lectures and activities on Mondays & Tuesdays, followed by second-day lectures and activities on Wednesdays & Thursdays. This schedule will allow students who work to strike a better balance between work and school activities. This course involves three semesters of fundamentals, laboratory, and clinical learning (fall, spring, and summer), with graduation scheduled for August 2020.
Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2020 Paramedic Hybrid Course beginning in January 2020. In the Hybrid Paramedic course, didactic learning follows an online-asynchronous format, with one day per week on campus in the laboratory setting for psychomotor learning (skills) and testing. Clinical requirements remain unchanged. The application deadline is November 30, 2019. This course involves three semesters of fundamentals, laboratory, and clinical learning (spring, summer, and fall), with graduation scheduled for December 2020.
Chattanooga State’s Emergency Medical Services program is planning to offer fall 2019 Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Spring 2020 and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) cohorts at the Chattanooga State Kimball, TN site. Applications are being accepted now for these cohorts as well as fall 2019 EMT and AEMT cohorts on the main campus. The application deadline is July 31, 2019. Entrance Requirements remain unchanged.
