Since the first graduation in 1967, Chattanooga State Community College has seen thousands of graduates earn their degree and move on to a new career. Many of those graduates have fond memories of their time at ChattState, so it is no wonder that when an invitation to attend Alumni events last fall reached them, graduates returned to enjoy the camaraderie and catch up with old friends, faculty and staff.

On Thursday, March 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. in OMN 124/126, the Chattanooga State Alumni Association will hold its spring alumni event – “Throwback Thursday,” fashioned after Facebook’s popular photo throwback event of the same name. ChattState graduates and their families are invited to stop by for networking, refreshments and optional campus tours.

Attendees are encouraged to enter the ChattState Alumni Throwback Thursday photo contest by submitting a photo on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #ChattStateThrowback from your days on campus. ChattState will award prizes for best “Throwback Thursday” photos.
