First 50th Reunion of the First Class of the First Two-year Technical Institute in the State

Chattanooga State recently celebrated the 50th Reunion of its very first graduating class from 1967. The Chattanooga State Class of 1967 is very unique in that they were the first students, and the first graduates, of the state of Tennessee’s first-ever two-year technical institution.
During the Reunion Luncheon, one-by-one, each classmate took their turn crossing the stage to be welcomed into the first-ever Chattanooga State Half Century Alumni Club by President Rebecca Ashford.
We are so proud of our very first graduates. Your success has become our success, and we hope you always want to come home to ChattState for a visit and for our future Half Century Alumni Club gatherings.
