The Chattanooga State Community College Veteran’s Support Center and the Theatre Department have partnered with The Telling Project, a national performing arts non-profit that employs theater to deepen the understanding of military and veterans’ experiences.

The Telling Project puts veterans and military family members in front of their communities to share their stories. Veterans and military family members are given the opportunity to speak, and their communities the opportunity to listen.

Interviews for the cast will be held in Chattanooga on June 1-3. If you or someone you know would like to participate, please send an email with “Chattanooga” in the subject line to: Max@thetellingproject.org.

Six performances will take place in Chattanooga from mid-September to early-October. Participants need no experience in performance – just willingness and enthusiasm. The Telling Project staff will work with participants to shape their story, then transition it from a story to a performance.
