Chattanooga State President Dr. Rebecca Ashford accepted the CHAgives Employer Challenge to match her employee’s #GivingTuesday donations up to $1,000 to support the Helping Hands Fund.

The Helping Hands Fund recently helped a single parent pay overdue rent after an unexpected car repair expense. The student was ready to quit school to work more hours, but instead was able to stay in school.

You can help keep a student from dropping out when you make your gift to the Chattanooga State Foundation’s Helping Hands Fund. Visit give.chattanoogastate.edu and select Helping Hands Fund, and thanks to President Ashford and her Cabinet, your gift is double* until midnight on #GivingTuesday. One hundred percent of your donation goes to the Helping Hands Fund which assists students with housing, utilities, groceries, minor car repairs like a flat tire, transportation like a bus pass, daycare and other non-routine expenses.
