Chattanooga State Invites Alumni Back to Campus

May 3, 2022 (Chattanooga, TN) --- The Alumni Association of Chattanooga State is proud of its many graduates and is planning two events in May to bring alumni together for the first time since 2019.

The Alumni Dessert Reception is Friday evening, May 20th from 7-9 pm and will be held in the new community room in the recently finished CETAS Building. This free alumni event is open to any and all Chattanooga State alumni from the class of 1967 to the most recent class of 2022. There will be a special performance by the Alumni Choir. Reservations are required here

The Half Century Alumni Club Reunion is spearhead by Alumni Association Board member and 1969 graduate Richard Huskin. The college will gather to celebrate the achievements of those early graduates at a special luncheon and induction ceremony into the Half Century Alumni Club on Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. in the OMNI Building, Faculty Staff Dining Room. “The 50+ reunion is for Chattanooga State Alumni from the earliest graduating classes of 1967 through 1972,” said Huskin. “And we look forward to seeing not only former classmates but also some of our former teachers.” Reservations are required, and it is $25 per person. Please make reservations by May 9th here.  

Alumni Association President Jim Fry said that "this event celebrating the achievements of these honored guests is both important and exciting to recognize such cherished members of the campus community. We are so honored to host this wonderful group of alumni and celebrate the history of Chattanooga State's half century of contributions to the lives of its students and to community at large."
