This concentration is designed for students who do not plan to transfer to a four-year college or university, yet are seeking a position as a first-line supervisor in a business or some other organization. These positions require work experience in addition to an A.A.S. degree. For students without experience, this concentration offers preparation for entry-level positions in areas such as sales, purchasing or human resources.

Chattanooga State has entered into transfer agreements with both Bryan College and Tennessee Wesleyan University for this concentration. The agreements allow students to transfer the required concentration credits to either of these schools to be use toward the completion of a 4-year degree.
