This play is considered an “unauthorized continuation” of the popular Peanuts comic strip, and is advertised as a parody of the characters, depicting them as high school students with teenage issues.  The play begins right after CB’s dog dies from rabies, and explores the relationships and issues he is having with his grief and his own identity.  The play is both comedic and intensely dramatic, and explores deep issues in a way that is both harrowing and hopeful.  Tickets are $15 general admission, but are FREE for Chatt State students, faculty, staff, and theatre department alumni.

 


All events are free to the public (except as noted) and are presented at the Chattanooga State Humanities Theatre (except as noted), 4501 Amnicola Highway.
