Rodgers & Hammerstein’s "A Grand Night for Singing"

Chattanooga State Repertory Theatre is pleased to present Rodgers & Hammerstein’s A Grand Night for Singing, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, conceived by Walter Bobbie, musical arrangements by Fred Wells, and orchestrations by Michael Gibson & Jonathan Tunick. A Grand Night for Singing is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals. The cast of 5 features Teagan Bartz, Valerie Duke, Cody Dunn, Bekah Frampton, and Holli Trisler. The show is directed by Jennifer Arbogast Wilson, music directed by Benjamin Brown, choreographed by Lindsay Fussell, stage managed by Katie Hamilton, and assistant stage managed by Austin Massey. Scenic design by Sarah Miecielica, costume design by Brenda Schwab, lighting design by Alex Miller-Long, and sound design by Justin Walker. Concord Theatricals says “This first-rate revue offers a fresh and innovative take on the songs of Rodgers & Hammerstein.” It’s a musical revue with re-imagined versions of beloved songs like “Oh What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “Wash that Man Right Outta My Hair,” “Honey Bun,” “Kansas City,” “Shall We Dance,” and many more!  


FREE and open to the public.

This production is appropriate for all ages. Seating is general admission and first-come, first-serve.

The performances will be in the Humanities Theatre on Chattanooga State's main campus.  


Time

Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
