Drive Electric Scenic City (DESC), Chattanooga State Community College, Sierra Club, and Drive Electric Tennessee (DET) have come together to host the 2nd annual Chattanooga Drive Electric Festival. Saturday,  September 30, from 11 AM - 3 PM. All activities, vehicles on display, local dealerships, vendors, local businesses, etc., will be held at Chattanooga State McCormick Center and is FREE and open to the public. Chattanooga's first National Drive Electric  Week (NDEW) was a huge success, with 40+ electric vehicles registered and 300+ attendees. For 2023, we expect even more visitors, sponsors, vendors, dealerships, and FUN.

This year will feature a wider variety of plug-in hybrid and battery-electric vehicles: cars,  trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and more. Area EV owners will be on hand,  showing their electric vehicles from various manufacturers and answering questions from the public on what it's like to drive an EV,  charge an EV, use solar with an EV, etc. Area dealerships representing their electrified inventory and local leaders in sustainable mobility will also be featured.

This year's event will be held on the campus of Chattanooga State Community College. Representatives from the college will be on hand, talking about new and exciting areas of study focusing on EVs and the infrastructure that supports them.

Never rode in an EV? Now is your chance! Test rides will be available to event participants, free and open to the public from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m

Sponsored locally by Adventure Sports Innovation, Capital Toyota, CARTA, Chattanooga State Community College, CO.LAB, EPB, Green | Spaces, Integrity Auto Group, Scenic City Solar, the Sierra Club, & TVA
