Coronavirus Updates - April 15, 2020

Coronovirus info for webDear Chattanooga State Community, Due to widespread power outages in the Chattanooga area, classes are canceled for the remainder of this week. All instruction will resume on Monday, April 20.

  • No assignments will be due for the period April 12 – April 19. Due dates for the week of April 13 will be extended into the week of April 20. Faculty are expected to be flexible and work with those students who may still be experiencing power or internet outages.
  • We are exploring the need to potentially extend the spring semester by one week and delay the 13-week summer term currently scheduled to begin May 11 by one week. We will have additional details soon.

I know these class cancellations add a great deal more uncertainty to an already difficult situation. Please know we are working hard to address the many issues presented by the cancelling of classes.
