“It’s 1948 in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, and blues music echoes throughout the neighborhood. A group of old friends gather to mourn and reminisce about Floyd “Schoolboy” Barton — a gifted guitarist whose star was on the rise and whose untimely death has irrevocably changed each of them. With live blues and lyrical dialogue, August Wilson weaves a poetic and poignant composition about the Black American experience.” Free tickets for the first 15 people to register in the S.E.O. Office. 18+. Must provide own transportation.

Laurel Graefe is the senior officer leading the Federal Reserve in Nashville. She oversees the Fed's regional research and strategic direction, and is a member of the core group advising on monetary policy.

On February 21st, come enjoy a free luncheon of pizza and drinks, while learning from Mrs. Graefe about how the Fed creates Monetary Policy.The luncheon will be in the OMNI building’s Faculty & Staff Dining Room (Room 124) at 12pm. Mrs. Graefe will begin her presentation a few minutes after lunch.
