"Reflections" Art Exhibit - Opening Reception
Thursday, November 09, 2023
Show is open to all Chattanooga State Community College Students.
Prizes will be awarded at 6pm for Best in Show and 1st Place in Drawing, Painting, Photography, Ceramics, & Sculpture.
A timeless theme that has been applied many ways throughout art’s history. Is a reflection a depiction of one’s true self, vanity, a portal to another realm, or the way we as the viewer (or the artist) interacts with space and time? Perhaps a work of art embodying the theme of “reflections” is more of an immersive experience created for the pleasure of the viewer?
Consider these themes as you develop your own interpretation of “reflections.”
