Celebrate Hispanic Heritage at ChattState's 9th Annual Latin Festival & Open House

Don't miss out on Chattanooga State's 9th Annual Latin Festival & Open House on Saturday, October 5. It's a celebration of Hispanic culture packed with performances, activities, and food, which attendees can enjoy while touring the ChattState campus. The free community event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the main campus, located at 4501 Amnicola Highway in Chattanooga.

The festival offers a diverse range of performances including traditional dances, and food lovers can explore the tastes of Latin America with a selection of food trucks. The College and its community partners will provide engaging activities and important resources to help families succeed in their educational journey.

"We want every attendee to feel like they are part of the Chattanooga State family,” said Dr. Quincy Jenkins, Vice President of Organizational Culture and Engagement at Chattanooga State. “The Latin Festival is a perfect occasion for families to experience the welcoming spirit of our campus while enjoying a day full of fun and culture."

If your organization would like to host an activity or provide educational resources to attendees, please complete the online form. Applications will be accepted until September 27. For more information, contact Nahomi Ortiz, Office of Organizational Culture and Engagement, at nahomi.ortiz@chattanoogastate.edu  or 423.697.3242.
