Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

  1. Practice engineering science while solving problems in a modern technological society as valuable productive engineering technicians, or be in good academic standing in an engineering
    program while completing an engineering degree.
  2. Pursue and succeed in furthering their education as they continue the process of life-long learning.
  3. Participate in activities that support service to and economic development of the region, state, and nation.

Student Outcomes (SOs)

  1. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve broadly-defined technical or scientific problems by applying knowledge of mathematics and science and/or technical topics to areas relevant to the discipline.
  2. An ability to conduct experiments or test theories, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
  3. An ability to function on teams.
  4. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
