ChattState Welcomes 20 Student Ambassadors for 2024-2025 School Year
October 23, 2024 | Payton Potter | Student Success
CHATTANOOGA, TN -- Twenty Chattanooga State Community College students recently stepped up to represent their peers as Student Ambassadors.
Student ambassadors are selected based on attributes of T.I.G.E.R.S: Team player, Intelligent, Gifted, Enthusiastic, Responsible, and Socially-skilled. Students must show enthusiasm about ChattState; accept the time commitment required; work well with others; communicate well; exhibit responsibility, dependability, and flexibility; and maintain good academic and judicial standing.
The many duties of Student Ambassadors include representing ChattState at community events, leading campus tours, promoting student life activities, and maintaining positive relationships between all members of the campus community. As a result, they gain job readiness, leadership and public speaking skills, and networking opportunities.
“Being a Student Ambassador offers our students a unique chance to develop essential skills that will serve them well in their future careers. It's a platform for personal growth and professional readiness,” said Dr. Kisha Thomas, director of orientation and recruiting. “They embody the spirit of Chattanooga State, showcasing the diverse talents and dedication of our student body while making meaningful connections within our community.”
Congratulations to the 2024-2025 ChattState Student Ambassadors.
