Tumlin Twice Named First Horizon Business Chair of Excellence at Chattanooga State

December 12, 2022 (Chattanooga, TN) --- For the second year in a row, Chattanooga State Community College recently recognized Clomeisha Tumlin as the First Horizon Business Chair of Excellence for the 2022-2023 academic year.

As Department head and associate professor of Business, Ms. Tumlin, also a Master Faculty for High Impact Practices (HIPs), has implemented HIPs in Chattanooga State’s Personal Finance and Human Resources courses to increase student success.

“First Horizon is honored to invest in faculty excellence at Chattanooga State,” said Jay Dale, Market President of First Horizon. “We are proud to once again recognize the outstanding work of Clomeisha Tumlin.”

The First Horizon Endowed Chair of Excellence in Business was established through the Chattanooga State Foundation for the purpose of recognizing a distinguished faculty member within the Business Division each year.
