Transfer Students

You are a Transfer Student if you meet all of the following requirements:

  • You have earned a recognized regular high school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) diploma.
  • You have attended another college and/or university and plan to obtain a degree or credit certificate at Chattanooga State.

Admissions Checklist for Transfer Students

Check mark Complete the Online Application

 

Check mark Submit Proof of United States Citizenship or lawful presence (This is not required to be admitted to the college. However, students who do not submit the proper proof(s), cannot receive in-state tuition rates or other state benefits.)

International applicants should email internationals@chattanoogastate.edu for more information.

 

Check mark Submit Official High School Transcript or High School Equivalency Exam Score Report (HiSET or GED)  

 *High school transcript is NOT required if you have earned an Associates degree or higher from a nationally accredited institution. 

Transcripts: High School Counselors may submit transcripts electronically via one the following methods:

  • Naviance 
  • Parchment 
  • eSCRIP-SAFE 
  • National Student Clearinghouse 
  • Credentials Solutions
  • Email as an attachment to submit@chattanoogastate.edu

High School Equivalency Test Scores (HiSET or GED) 

 

Check mark Submit Official College Transcripts from each College and/or University Attended  

College officials may submit transcripts electronically via one the following methods:

When all items are accepted and processed you will receive an email saying that you have been admitted to Chattanooga State.

 

Check mark Attend New Student Orientation 

You will be emailed step-by-step instructions to register for the mandatory new student orientation.
