Philosophy - A.A. (TTP)
Each Philosophy course may be taken for undergraduate credit.
The Philosophy program consists of 5 different philosophy courses:
General Education courses:
- PHIL 1030 (Introduction to Philosophy)
- PHIL 2230 (Ethics)
Typically transfer well to other institutions:
- PHIL 1130 (Critical Thinking)
- PHIL 2130 (Formal Logic)
- PHIL 2430 (Philosophy of Religion)
Students may choose between taking the Philosophy courses in class or, if one's schedule necessitates it, online. Depending on courses that are taken the student can expect to master the basics associated with thinking critically about issues pertaining to value, reality, and knowledge. With the preceding foundation in hand, students will be able to transfer to a four year institution where they can continue their education.
