Chattanooga State offers one of the most comprehensive programs in the humanities of any community college in the TBR system. Students can elect to study the broad development of arts in the western tradition, or choose to take more focused courses on topics related to philosophy and religious studies.

The department is supported by a qualified faculty, and each year our students are encouraged to participate in the annual Chattanooga State Humanities Celebration.
