Dr. Jennifer Arbogast Wilson is the acting Artistic Director of Theatre and a Professor at Chattanooga State Community College, where she teaches applied voice, acting, audition techniques, and voice and speech.  Jennifer holds a Doctor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance with a secondary emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts Directing from the University of Idaho.  In addition to her work at Chattanooga State, Jennifer has directed, musical directed, and performed with various theatre and opera organizations, including local productions with the Colonnade Players, Chattanooga Theatre Centre, Signal Mountain Playhouse, Ensemble Theatre of Chattanooga, Ripple Theatre, and Artisti Affamati. Favorite roles include Snoopy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Anna Leonowens (The King and I; Nomination: Best Actress in a Musical, BroadwayWorld.com Nashville Regional Awards), Lady of the Lake (Spamalot, CTC Miss Annie Awards Recipient- Best CTC Debut in a Musical and Audience Favorite Actress 2015-2016 Season), and Lily Craven (The Secret Garden). Jennifer has performed in Masterclasses with renowned artists such as Angela Brown, Maria Lagios, and Ben Vereen, and regularly presents workshops at the annual Southeastern Theatre Conference.
