Debbie Waggoner “Above and Beyond” Award
Debbie Waggoner was a Chattanooga State employee who worked in the Career Planning and Counseling Center. Her battle with cancer took her from us prematurely, but not before she left her legacy of student advocacy. Debbie worked ardently on behalf of students, and as the award is named, she went “above and beyond” the call of duty.
In order to continue to show our respect and admiration for all that Debbie did for us at Chattanooga State, at the end of each school year, The Chattanooga State Student Government Association sponsor this award. We celebrate and name one faculty/staff member who went above and beyond the call of duty to reach out and help our students.
